I’ve learned the most when I’ve stepped into rooms I didn’t quite feel ready for. Whether it was leading a $60M+ operation during a pandemic or entering a field without textbook qualifications, the discomfort always led to growth.
My advice to anyone—especially those early in their careers—is this: run toward the things that scare you. Take the job that stretches you. Work with people who are smarter than you. Say yes before you feel fully ready.
Challenge isn’t just a catalyst for growth—it’s the signal you’re on the right path.
